Robert C. Goodwill Jr.
Robert grew up in the rural city of Ruston, Louisiana. Mr. Goodwill received his Bachelor’s and Master of Accountancy from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
After graduating, Mr. Goodwill attended law school at the University of Houston Law Center in Houston, Texas. During his law school career, he advocated as a member of his university’s Interscholastic Mock Trial Team and served as the Executive Editor of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. As a member of the journal, Mr. Goodwill published a Comment, which was awarded the Chamberlain Hrdlicka Writing Award for Distinguished Paper in Taxation.
Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm as an associate, Mr. Goodwill gained valuable legal experience by working for a criminal defense firm, a tax firm, as well as clerking part-time during law school for the Bergquist Law Firm.
Mr. Goodwill is based in our Houston office.
