Madison Hastings grew up in Houston, Texas. Ms. Hastings received her Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Houston – Clear Lake, graduating Cum Laude. After completing her undergraduate education, Ms. Hastings attended law school at South Texas College of Law Houston, graduating Summa Cum Laude. During her law school career, Ms. Hastings served as Senior Article & Note Editor for Currents: Journal of International Economic Law, Associate Editor for the Texas Journal of Business Law, and President of Women’s Law Society. While participating in moot court and alternative dispute resolution competitions, Ms. Hastings earned multiple awards, including Outstanding Advocate and Best Brief. As a law student, Ms. Hastings served as a mentor and Langdell Scholar, ultimately receiving the Student Bar Association President’s Award for Outstanding Leadership.
Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Ms. Hastings gained valuable legal experience working at the United States Attorney’s Office in Houston, Texas, and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge David Hittner in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Ms. Hastings has worked in a variety of practice areas, including bankruptcy, business litigation, and family law at various law firms in the Houston area.
Ms. Hastings is based in our Houston office.
