Jesse Kizewski grew up in Rockwall, Texas. Mr. Kizewski received his Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Mr. Kizewski worked with the Texas Tech School of Banking and was published in the Conference of State Bank Supervisors Journal of Community Bank Case Studies in 2016.
Mr. Kizewski graduated cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law. During his law school career, he served as an Editor of the Business and Bankruptcy Law Journal and graduated with his Doctor of Jurisprudence with a Business Concentration.
Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Mr. Kizewski gained valuable legal experience working at a large law firm in Amarillo with a focus on durable medical equipment as well as oil and gas law. Further, Mr. Kizewski gained experience in criminal law clerking for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas as well as handling cases at a criminal defense firm in Lubbock, Texas.
Mr. Kizewski is a licensed mediator in accordance with the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code and has experience mediating cases involving debt collection, divorce, as well as pre-plea diversions. Mr. Kizewski is an experienced negotiator and won 2nd place at the National Energy Law Negotiation competition in Houston, Texas in 2019. Mr. Kizewski is a member of the Phi Delta Phi National Legal Society and used his free time to protect animals as a member of the Animal Legal Defense Fund and is a recipient of the Pro Bono achievement Award for volunteering over 150 hours of legal community legal service.
