David W. Bergquist

David W. Bergquist grew up in a small town, Moorhead, Minnesota. After graduation from Moorhead High School in 1994, Mr. Bergquist attended college at the University of North Dakota, in Grand Forks, North Dakota and graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in 1999.

Mr. Bergquist moved to Houston, Texas shortly after graduation to enter the business world. After a year and a half of sitting behind a desk as a consultant with Arthur Andersen, Mr. Bergquist chose to attend law school and spend the remainder of his career arguing in the court room.

Mr. Bergquist graduated magna cum laude from Texas Southern University in 2003. Mr. Bergquist worked for two litigation firms during and subsequent to graduation which led to the start of The Law Offices of David W. Bergquist, PLLC.

Mr. Bergquist is an aggressive trial lawyer who utilizes his life experiences, knowledge and charisma to fight and win in the court room.

Kevin Wright

Kevin Wright is a native Houstonian and has spent a majority of his life in Texas. After graduating from Memorial High School in 1991, Mr. Wright enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After serving six years in the Marine Corps and earning his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Chapman University in California, Mr. Wright moved back to Houston in 1999.

After Mr. Wright returned to Houston, he worked for several fortune 500 companies Texaco, BMC Software, Waste Management, and Chevron while earning his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Houston in 2002 and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston.

In December of 2009, Mr. Wright left Chevron and joined The Law Offices of David W. Bergquist, PLLC, where he handles a variety of cases in Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, and DWI.

Mr. Wright is an aggressive and dedicated attorney who is committed to helping you.

Nick Kliewer - Law Clerk

Nick Kliewer is a second-year law student at the University of Houston Law School and a law clerk at the Law Offices of David W. Bergquist.

At law school, Mr. Kliewer was given the Lex Award twice in Legal Writing and Research. He is also active on both the Mock Trial team and the International Law Journal. Mr. Kliewer also served as an intern for Federal District Court Judge David Hittner.

Mr. Kliewer received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1996. Before deciding to go to law school, Mr. Kliewer worked for Texas Instruments and served as an officer in the Army Reserve.
