Mr. Andres Guerra was born in Edinburg, Texas and grew up on his family’s ranch in Linn, Texas.

Mr. Guerra received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Sciencefrom Texas A&M University where he was a member of its esteemed Corps of Cadets. After graduating, Mr. Guerra worked in Texas House of Representatives as a Reading Clerk during the 85th Texas Legislative Session, where he gainedlegislative experience in the lawmaking process. Thereafter, Mr. Guerraattended law school at Texas Southern University – Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas where he graduated summa cum laude. During his law school career, Mr. Guerra achieved numerous awards such as graduated in the Top Ten Percent of his class,obtained a certification in Mediation, and was named a Merit Scholar recipient.

Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Mr. Guerraworked at a national property tax collection law firm as a law clerk, as well as a prominent personal injury litigation firm.Mr. Guerra also interned at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in both its Misdemeanor and Adult Sex Crimes Division where he assisted prosecutors during jury trials.

Among his interests outside of work, Mr. Guerra enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching Aggie football.

Mr. Guerra is based in our Houston office.
